libmuparser2 software package provides fast mathematical expressions parser library (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmuparser2
libmuparser2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmuparser2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmuparser2 *
You will get with libmuparser2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
